Farmhouse Night Stand SET

I love how these Farmhouse Night Stands turned out! Last year we made our client a Farmhouse Headboard in the same style and distressing technique. Later in the year she wanted Night Stands to match, so we went through Pinterest gathered up some ideas and came up with this design.

The Night Stand SET was built with Pine. I stained the Night Stand base with Dark Walnut and used the same Behr white and distressing technique. The X’s are stained in Dark Walnut.

We also built the drawers and used BLUM soft close drawer slides. The slides I think were the most difficult part. All slides aren’t the same. LOL! That’s why we used BLUM. Best soft close slides around. I then finished the drawer with a Farmhouse Black Pull and of course marked our masterpiece.

The Tops were also made with Pine. I used Dark Walnut and two coats of Poly to seal.

Overall what we designed turned out so good! The color, the light distressing and the Two- Tone look with the X’s. When you take on a new design the nerves definitely kick in, but they have a great outcome. I love that our clients trust us with their ideas and enjoy our pieces in their home.
